Prestige Imports Winter Driving Event - The 991 Goes For A Spin

That, ladies and gentlemen, is a brand new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S being driven on Lake Georgetown in Georgetown, CO. That's right, a 991 taking laps on a solid 22 inches of frozen, snow covered, scream inducing, H20.
We took the new 911 up to the lake for our first annual Winter Driving Event on February 18th, and a number of lucky customers got to take it out for a spin (literally). The silver Carrera S really held its own with the all wheel drive Porsche and Audi vehicles that are more commonly driven on the ice. The consensus was that it handled surprisingly well, especially for a rear wheel drive car with more torque than any ice driver should ever be allowed.
We are working on a big blog post featuring lots of images, and even some videos, from the ice driving event, but thought you would like a sneak peek of the 991 in its "natural environment".
Keep an eye on the blog, as well as our social media pages, for more.
